What a treat? I am in my first class of the day, and instead of paying attention to my professor, I blog instead (you're welcome Dan). Its not that I don't usually pay attention, its just that I have a feeling that this Journalism class has nothing to do with J O U R N A L I S M. Oh... wait, it doesn't. He made that very clear already. Apparently, it has more to do with the internet and media.. and as a matter of fact, traditional Journalism is going out of business so to speak. Sooooo in other words me paying to get a Bachelors in Journalism is a waste of my money and time, possibly. I think this is why so many people change their majors after their general education classes... of sweet EMU, why???!!??
This semester is nothing like last semester. I messed around fall semseter and got all A's (which you think is a good think looking from the outside in..), stayed to myself most of the time, and took everything from work to school very seriously. Now I have set a standard from myself which isn't too bad because I started out with a good academic reputation, but now I have to maintain that...
What people do not see is that I am FEELING myself!! I think I'm the Sugar Honey Ice Tea and I can do what I want when I want to and my studying can wait, but it can't, so now I'm working on getting myself back together, at least stay focused until the spring time..
I am getting comfortable with staying in Ypsi these days, but everytime I get on FB, I see something Freshman Phil or Eric posted, and it makes me want to leave here and just go give them ideas on women's clothing and but their stuff up. I <3 FresHER
